RightCare COPD pathway
Posted on: 16 Oct 2018NHS England has published guidance for local health economies on the RightCare COPD Pathway. It sets out resources to enable change, reduce variation and improve population health for COPD patients. It enables health economies to focus on early detection, optimising COPD treatment, hospital readmissions and unexpected mortality.
For each of these areas, NHS England provides guidance and practical examples of successful implementation. The document also includes a template for local health economies when considering service redesign.
