70% of current smokers would like to quit, and 30% try every year. However, only around 3% access specialist smoking cessation services. With increasing cuts to smoking cessation funding, how can primary care professionals offer their patients the best chance of quitting?

In this video he offers recommendations and describes smoking cessation treatment options that have been shown to be most effective. He also addresses the subject of e-cigarettes and whether they play a role in treating tobacco dependency.
