NHS RightCare is a national NHS-supported programme, with the aim of ensuring the best possible care is delivered as efficiently as possible.
It advises local economies to make best use of their resources and implement care pathways more efficiently, among other advice. All in all, it recommends local services make sustainable improvements based on evidence-based processes.
PCRS has put together four outline proposals for ‘quick wins’, aimed at CCGs wanting to improve their respiratory disease outcomes.
Each proposal meets the criteria defined by NHS RightCare. In short, each project:
- Improves or maintains health outcomes
- Can be implemented within an annual cycle
- Delivers in-year savings
- Provides a quick rate of return.
