2019 Clinical Roadshow preview

Posted on: 20 Dec 2018

Steve Holmes, Somerset GP, and Carol Stonham, Primary Care Respiratory Nurse, preview the 2019 PCRA Clinical Roadshow.

Something old: don’t forget the basics. What is the clinical significance of your spirometry readings?

Something new: keep up to date. 2019 sees the release of new guidance in asthma, COPD, antimicrobial prescribing and lung cancer diagnosis.

Something borrowed: clinicians are time starved. Borrow skills, tools and techniques that have proven to be helpful in other areas.

Something blue: make a difference to your asthma patient’s quality of life. Tackle the inappropriate use of blue inhalers.
